Stowers Rental & Supply, The Cat Rental Store, has announced that Matt Beller has joined the Knoxville-based company as sales manager for compact construction equipment.
Beller will be responsible for the sales of Caterpillar’s line of skid steer loaders, mini-excavators, and compact wheel loaders as well the Challenger line of agricultural tractors.
He has more than 17 years experience in the construction equipment industry. Most recently Beller was regional manager of Genie Industries, calling on Cat Rental Stores in 16 different states. Prior to working with Genie, he also worked in sales and management with JLG and Falconite Equipment and Care Supply.
Stowers Rental & Supply is a subsidiary of Stowers Machinery Corporation, the dealer for Caterpillar in 38 counties of east Tennessee.
With headquarters in Knoxville, the company has branch operations in Chattanooga and Kingsport and currently employs 315 people in its heavy equipment, rental and power generation divisions.
The company’s rental division, operating under the name of the Cat Rental Store, currently has facilities in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Kingsport, with a new facility to open in Crossville, TN, in the spring.
