A crane operator in China has been named a hero after he helped rescue passengers whose bus fell into a river after an accident.

The accident occurred in Changzhou, China on Jan. 3, when a speeding car crashed into the bus, causing the bus to fall into a river by the road, NDTV reported.

A video, posted by People's Daily, China, shows the crane operator coming down from his crane and running to the crash scene to survey the damage. The operator is then shown driving his crane onto the scene before using the equipment to pull the bus passengers to safety.

By the time firefighters arrived, the bus's driver and all its passengers had been rescued, the South China Morning Post reported.
