Two Potain MCT 275 topless tower cranes are supporting daily lifting operations on a complex, multi-structure hotel development where crane availability is critical to maintaining construction momentum.

The cranes have worked continuously for more than three years, delivering consistent performance with zero unplanned breakdowns since erection. The new hotel will form part of the Central Park Towers project in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Central Park Towers is a five-star integrated resort and hotel in downtown Tbilisi, managed by Radisson Blu and developed by Orbi Group Tbilisi, which also serves as the project's main contractor. Construction has taken place across multiple phases, supported by a large onsite workforce, with the Potain MCT 275 cranes remaining central to site operations, ensuring coordinated material flow and sustained productivity throughout the build.

The two MCT 275 cranes used on the project are the 11-ton versions and were initially erected in a freestanding configuration before climbing to final working heights of 492 ft. The cranes have been configured with 148 ft. and 164 ft. jibs to support lifting operations as construction has progressed.

"Maintaining crane availability on a complex project like Central Park Towers needs more than just reliable equipment; it depends on strong service support throughout," said Konstantin Guba, customer service director, Middle East and North Africa of Manitowoc. "The Manitowoc customer support team has been on the project from the start, handling erection and commissioning, then training the local team in maintenance and operation. We've also provided regular maintenance, comprehensive inspections, engineering support and ongoing parts supply to ensure the cranes perform reliably. Whenever and whatever is needed, we're there."

The Potain MCT 275 is available in 11-ton and 13-ton versions and can be configured with jib lengths ranging from 98 ft. to 230 ft. It is designed for large-scale construction projects requiring flexibility and long-term reliability. With end-of-jib capacities of up to 2.5 tons, the crane provides effective load-handling across wide areas, making it suited to complex developments with demanding lifting requirements, according to Potain.
