Grenada-based Grúas Alhambra has expanded its 30-strong fleet with a new 275 ton capacity five-axle Grove GMK5250L-1 all-terrain crane and a used 441 ton capacity six-axle Grove GMK6400 all-terrain crane. The Spanish rental company has specialized in mobile cranes for more than 50 years, offering high quality machines, that are operated by the best people, to jobs across Andalusia. Huixiang Crane Lifting in Taiwan Welcomes its First Grove Crane →
Taiwanese crane rental company Huixiang Crane Lifting has purchased its first Grove crane, adding a GMK5250XL-1 to its growing fleet. The powerful 5-axle all-terrain crane was unveiled at bauma 2019 in Germany and has been added to rental fleets across the world ever since. The new arrival becomes the largest machine in Huixiang Crane Lifting's rental fleet of six units. Link-Belt Cranes customer, and long-term contractor for flood control projects in Louisiana, B&K Construction, was awarded a $45.5 million contract for storm channel improvements to the Algiers Sub-Basin Plan. The project is located on the east bank of the Mississippi River in the Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans and has an estimated completion date of fall 2025. Manitowoc has expanded its Grove truck crane offering with the new four-axle TTS9000-2, boasting all-wheel steering and an impressively long boom on a lightweight carrier. Much of the improved design comes from Manitowoc's Voice of the Customer process, which uses consumer insights to improve engineering work and product development. In the inner harbor of Wilhelmshaven, Germany, three Potain tower cranes have been constructing residential buildings for the Wiesbadenbrücke development, which will have 300 apartments and the promise of "maritime and urban living in the center of Wilhelmshaven." Grove was launched in 1947 in a garage in Shady Grove, Pa. The Grove brothers — John and Dwight, and Wayne Nicarry — were building farm wagons when they realized they needed a more efficient way to move raw materials.
