Potain Cranes to Aid Major Renovation of Historic Milan Hospital in Italy →

Italian construction company Consorzio Stabile SIS has chosen four Potain top-slewing cranes for a pivotal role in the renovation of one of Italy's oldest hospitals, Policlinico di Milano. The project is set to last approximately three years and will require the use of the Potain cranes for the duration of the construction work. For ConExpo 2023, the Liebherr LR 1400 SX was fitted with a 134.5 ft. main boom and a 144.4 ft. luffing jib. Gerhard Frainer, managing director of sales at the Austrian site, described the machine as "a big step for the factory," and added, "The wish for a bigger crane came from the market." Potain MDT 109 Cranes Assembled by Helicopter On French Glacier →

Within the space of four months, Potain dealer of the Rhône-Alpes region Valente Grue Assistance (VGA) has carried out two unusual tower crane assembly jobs on the Mer de Glace "Sea of Ice" on the northern slopes of the Mont Blanc massif. First, in May 2022, VGA assembled a Potain MDT 109 top-slewing tower crane at an altitude of 6,561 ft. for the construction of a logistics base.
