Mammoet Completes Swift Removal of Bridge in Florida →

Mammoet teams assisted client Archer Western and De Moya Group with the successful removal of the westbound State Road 84 bridge over I-95 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in June. The bridge removal is part of the I-95 Express Lanes Phase 3C project, which will result in wider travel lanes on I-95 below the interchange with I-595 and improved efficiency of the SR 84 interchange. With the removal of the westbound lane complete, crews will now work to widen the travel lanes and then reconstruct the westbound SR84 bridge.  Click for more...

In mid-May 2021, Arbeitsbühnen Gagarin strengthened its fleet with Germany's first Grove GMK3060L-1 with the new carrier cab. The company already has a Grove GMK3055 and GMK4100L-1, with the new 60-tonner from Grove now completing the trio. The latest generation of Grove carrier cabs was officially launched for three-axle Grove all-terrain cranes at the end of last year. ALL Crane Adds 18 New Grove RTs →

The All Family of Companies is expanding its fleet of rough-terrain (RT) cranes with a new 18-unit package from Grove that covers weight classes from 55-ton capacity up to 165-tons. The purchase includes four 165-ton GRT9165, three 80-ton GRT8080, five 70-ton RT770 and six 55-ton GRT655L. Also included are two 40-ton TMS540 hydraulic truck cranes, bringing the full order to 20 total units. Link-Belt Cranes has unveiled the new 65|HT, a 65-ton (55-t) capacity truck crane to replace its HTC-8660 Series II. The 65|HT comes with a new four-section 36.5 to 115 ft. (11.2 to 35 m) full-power boom that reaches a maximum tip height of 125 ft. (38.1 m). HEC Students Engage in MLC100-1 Assembly Safety Class →

Heavy Equipment Colleges of America (HEC) students in Stonecrest, Ga., took part in an assembly safety class on May 19 that used a new Manitowoc MLC100-1. Students spent the day watching the unit being assembled and tested at the school's field-testing site shortly after HEC took delivery of the new crane. One winner was selected in each of four categories based on the dollar amount of the erection contract. In addition, three companies received honorable mention. Inversiones Farías Puts Pair of New Grove GRT8100s to Quick Use in Chile →

Based in Antofagasta, Chile's mining capital, Inversiones Farías has deployed two new Grove GRT8100 rough-terrain cranes to projects that serve the region's vibrant extraction economy. The cranes have already helped assemble mining infrastructure, and soon will go on to complete jobs in mineral processing plants and large-scale construction and manufacturing projects.
