Link-Belt Cranes will have the 85-ton (80-mt) 85|RT, its newest rough terrain crane on display at its booth in the Festival Grounds (F-9213) at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2023. Within the space of four months, Potain dealer of the Rhône-Alpes region Valente Grue Assistance (VGA) has carried out two unusual tower crane assembly jobs on the Mer de Glace "Sea of Ice" on the northern slopes of the Mont Blanc massif. First, in May 2022, VGA assembled a Potain MDT 109 top-slewing tower crane at an altitude of 6,561 ft. for the construction of a logistics base. On Feb. 9, the home's residents, joined by Brooke's House founders Kevin and Dana Simmers and Manitowoc representatives, dedicated the property as "The Manitowoc House." A roadway servicing the flagship yard of ALL Erection & Crane Rental was the site of some crane work of its own, as one of ALL's massive all-terrain cranes helped install a temporary bridge at the site. The 40-acre yard is located in Independence, Ohio, just outside of Cleveland, and the Cuyahoga River runs through the site.
