Every superhero has an origin story. So does ALL Erection & Crane Rental's "Hulk," the nickname for its brand new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3. (The machine's eye-catching green paint job earned it the moniker.) It was late last summer when the Hulk was sent on its first mission, along with a sister crane, to the Southgate Parkway Bridge project in Cambridge, Ohio. Grove GMK5250XL-1 Extends Helping Hand to German Soccer Club VfB Stuttgart →

A Grove GMK5250XL-1 belonging to German lifting service provider Gräser-Eschbach has completed its final lifts on the reconstruction of the MHP Arena soccer stadium in Stuttgart, Germany. Home to Bundesliga team VfB Stuttgart, the stadium has been undergoing redevelopment since 2018, although the erection of temporary sections has allowed it to remain operational during this time. Gräser-Eschbach, based in Bad Schönborn, Germany, had previously used other cranes, but restrictions on this part of the project meant structural components had to be placed underneath the existing 98 ft.-high roof.  Click for more...

In August, Atlanta mayor Andre Dickens announced a novel plan for tackling his city's homeless problem by repurposing converted shipping containers into temporary housing. By November, the plan was in action, and ALL Crane Rental of Georgia, a member of the ALL Family of Companies, played a crucial role. A fall weekend in downtown Columbus, Ohio, looked like an all-terrain crane takeover as two Liebherr LTM 1450 ATs were hard at work on two separate projects on the same street. Both cranes were provided by ALL Crane Rental Corp. , a member of the ALL Family of Companies. The first job was swapping out a series of transformers from the 15th floor of a high-rise. Two Grove All-Terrain Cranes Team Up to Repair Historic Italian Church →

Italian crane rental and transport company Santoni Autogrù called on two of its high-performing all-terrain cranes to help repair a local church: a Grove GMK4100L-2 and Grove GMK4100L-1. Located in Pinzolo, Italy, the San Lorenzo church's 100 kg cross was struck by lightning and detached from the building's bell tower last year. The bell tower, built between 1865 and 1867, reaches 236 ft., and is the tallest bell tower in the Trentino-Alto Adige region.  Click for more...

Lane's Crane Service of Moosic, Pa., received an interesting lifting challenge from beverage bottling company Joriki USA recently: erect four 37-ft. tall, 19,000 lb. tanks on the company's plant floor under a 41-ft. ceiling joist. When Wildson de Jesus, general director of Willift Lifting Engineering, received the task to plan the lifting of heavy metal parts at a 131 ft. height, at a lime plant in Vitoria, Brazil, his main concern was to find the right equipment to perform the job securely and efficiently. A roadway servicing the flagship yard of ALL Erection & Crane Rental was the site of some crane work of its own, as one of ALL's massive all-terrain cranes helped install a temporary bridge at the site. The 40-acre yard is located in Independence, Ohio, just outside of Cleveland, and the Cuyahoga River runs through the site. Hurricane Ian struck Florida in late September. One of its enduring images was the collapsed Sanibel Causeway, which links Sanibel Island to Punta Rassa near Fort Myers on the mainland. Just a few broken sections of roadway remained, breaking the surface of San Carlos Bay. Without the 3-mi. causeway, the island and its residents were cut off from access to relief supplies. ALL Adds 11 New Liebherr ATs →

The ALL Family of Companies, the largest privately-owned crane rental and sales enterprise in North America, has purchased a package of 11 new all-terrain (AT) cranes from Liebherr, ranging in capacities from 135 to 900 tons. The majority of the new cranes will be delivered by June 2023.
